RUFUS, born in 2002, is the youngest member of my kennel but by his intelligence and inventiveness may very well become the leader of the pack soon. Having a very strong personality, he always has his way. He had great difficulty accepting the fact that there was a stronger will than his: its owner's. After having gone through an intensive dog school, he has learned basic behavioural tasks: he became more disciplined and obedient. He is of endless energy, he is capable of romping about for one and a half, two hours, then after a short break he would start running and playing (if he finds anyone who is able to stand the pace!) His mates cannot always keep up to his speed - and as stubborn as he is - quarrels, sometimes are inevitable. This little "terrorist chief", on the other hand, can flatter and court like a cat, some minutes later. He is becoming more and more loyal and faithful as he is getting older. When in getting into trouble he is “brainstorming” until he finds the solution with which he can avoid danger. He is the type of dog which matures late.
